At Waynesville Yoga Center, we emphasize many modalities of healing, beyond movement or yoga asana. We have two beautiful rooms dedicated to bodywork, energy work, and massage therapy. And, as you may already know from direct experience, we have incredible massage therapists on staff!!

When you arrive for a session at WYC you can expect a variety of extra services, ranging from complimentary warm beverages, heated table covers, a fireplace in one massage room for ambiance and warmth, hot towels and warm packs for extra relaxation, or cold scented towels for rejuvenation.

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese therapeutic technique for stress reduction and healing. Reiki helps alleviate stress and anxiety, body pain, and emotional pain. In addition, it is a wonderful non-invasive way to achieve deep relaxation.

Solid Foundation

30 Minutes

The health of your feet affects balance and wellness in every other part of your body! Treat your feet the attention and care they deserve with a 10 minute hot salt soak, followed by a 20 minute custom-blended oil foot massage that incorporates elements of reflexology and Thai foot massage. – $40

Ananda (Bliss)

90 Minutes

Enjoy a soothing 10 minute hot salt foot soak while you consult with your massage therapist and they custom-blend an oil based on your needs for the session. This is followed by a 70-minute full body integrated massage and topped off with tea + chocolate waiting for you as you get off the table. Ultimate bliss! – $110

Hot Stone Treatment

30 – 120 minutes

Heated stones are used in bodywork to open muscles and connective tissue. They expand blood vessels, which encourages healthy blood flow throughout the body, and can promote deep relaxation.

Hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain and reduce stress. They can be especially effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia and arthritis. Hot stones can be added to any massage for $20.

Couples Massage

60 minutes

Couples massage is where two people are getting massaged at the same time, in the same space. You and your loved one are on separate massage tables, but in the same room, getting an hour full body treatment by 2 different therapists. Join us to enjoy this deeply relaxing and sweet experience: $180

Thai Massage

60 minutes

Thai Massage is received clothed and without oil – typically on a padded mat on the floor, but can also be performed on a massage table, if getting up or down off the floor is an issue for the client.

Its excellent for those with mobility issues; anyone who has a hard time undressing/dressing (disabled, elderly); and / or athletes, as it uses a combination of stretching + compression, similar to physical therapy.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a combination of acupressure points and deep tissue massage specifically designed for chronic long-term pain. Sciatica, low back, hip, neck, shoulder, and head pain are just a few of the problem areas to which neuromuscular therapy can provide quick relief.

NMT’s time-tested, hands-on techniques are built upon a science-based foundation and guided by clinical evidence. NMT is highly effective for clients who present with chronic pain and is often successful in reducing or eliminating even longstanding painful conditions. *See Massage + Bodywork pricing

Cancellation Policy

Please note that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy: any no shows – or sessions cancelled within 24 hours – will be charged. You will be asked for your credit card information when booking an appointment, and this will be used to charge for the session if you don’t provide at least 24 hour notice of cancellation.
