All About Adjustments
As a yoga teacher, one of the great benefits of this practice is the ability to help others. This includes learning and refining how to adjust your students to deepen their understanding of anatomy and the energetic aspects of yoga. Often students are unaware of postural misalignment’s in their body. Sometimes, just showing a student how to align themselves is not enough.
Physical Adjusting is often a silent conservation between student and teacher, and trust must be established first before any hands on approach is used. Learn when and how to physical adjust your students poses. Learn what type of touch is most needed for different clients. We will explore traditional asanas, (standing, sitting, supine) yin and restorative poses as well.
