Cultivating an At-Home Restorative Yoga Practice
Stress. It could be because of work, physical or mental pain, family, lack of sleep, what’s happening in the world around us or a number of other reasons. We push and push until we drop, sending our stress levels through the roof. Sound familiar?
If you’ve ever experienced one of Amber’s Hot Stone Restorative classes you may already know how amazing it feels to allow the body and mind to rest. But sometimes a set class doesn’t always fit into our schedules. All you need is a little bit of knowledge and understanding of how to bring Restorative Yoga into your home practice 10 minutes a day and you will be well on your way to living a stress-free life!
In this Restorative Workshop, Amber will dive in deeper than in her weekly classes so you’ll gain insight into what really happens to our bodies and our brains when we have a lack of rest. Or don’t allow ourselves to “check out” once in a while.
You will be guided through a series of postures and techniques that you can use at home while utilizing “props” that you already own.
You’ll have plenty of time for questions about what will work best for your body and will leave with tips on how to send your monkey-mind packing while you rest up. Amber will also help move you into a state of release with gentle hands-on guidance and essential oils (hands-on guidance and essentials oils are always optional)!
