Donation-Based Yin Yoga to Benefit Open Door
After the holiday that feeds our bodies, let’s feed our souls and support those in need! In an effort to help our local food bank better serve our community, we are offering a donation-based yoga class to collect non-perishable food items.
Join Sara Lewis for a FREE Yin Yoga class > we only ask that you bring a donation of a non-perishable food item (or 2 or 3 or more!) to benefit Open Door of Haywood County.
Open Door Ministries provides carryout food boxes for immediate relief of individuals and families experiencing a food crisis. These boxes consist of mostly staple foods and may be received as often as once a month. They can feed a family of four for 5 days.
The following items are needed at this time (pls note that pop-tops are preferred!):
// Pop top meat (ie, Vienna sausage, spam, potted meat, tuna and crackers packs)
// Pop top Canned Meals (spaghettios w/ meatballs, ravioli, beanie wienies)
// Pop top fruit and veggies
// Sides (cup o noodles, Mac and cheese, cups of soup)
// Crackers (cheese/peanut butter)
We will be putting a collection bin out this week > pls feel free to contribute, even if you can’t make the class!
If you can, snag your spot for this yummy post-Thanksgiving class to calm your mind; nourish your body and benefit our community.
(We will be taking pictures and videos during class, so wear cute clothes and know that attending means you’re giving consent for your image to be used on our website and in our marketing materials)! 🙂
Space is limited: to save yours, register on our class calendar – or call 828.246.6570 – or email hello@waynesvilleyogacenter.com
