Middle Prong Wilderness Hike + Yoga
What’s better than yoga in nature?!
This delightful 3.7 mile hike is mainly on the Mountains to Sea trail through the pristine Middle Prong Wilderness. It finishes on an open bald with spectacular views west and towards the Richland Balsam Crest. It features a couple of easily traversed creek crossings and is mostly flat over gentle trails to the final 3/4 of a mile where most of the 403 foot ascent is found. The timing of the hike will hopefully correspond with the blooming of the many rhododendrons that line the trail. We will have a 60 minute gentle yoga class in the middle of the hike.
