For this event, you will meet Tara at the Black Balsam Knob trail head at 7:30 and walk together. From the Blue Ridge Parkway, near mile post 420 and just south of Graveyard Fields and north of Devil’s Courthouse, look for the sign that says Black Balsam Road (FS road 816). Travel up this road for about 0.8 miles until you see parking off the road on the right. We will meet at the gravel trailhead of the Art Loeb Trail on the right.

*YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN MAT and be prepared with sturdy shoes for a short hike to the summit. The event concludes at the end of the yoga class at 9am (1 hour yoga class with 20/30 minutes to hike in and back). You can choose to enjoy the summit afterwards, take a longer hike in the Shining Rock wilderness area or just return to your car.
