Declining bone density is a concern for many women, especially as they age. Low bone density can cause pain + discomfort; injuries; and can have serious complications, such as a fracturing a hip in later life.
Some bone density conditions, such as osteoporosis or osteopenia, require that you avoid certain movements in activities of daily living. But how do you honor these limitations while still keeping the bones, joints, muscles and connective tissue active and supple?
