Yoga + Tea in the Woods
We combine a fun, energizing yet serene yoga class in the middle of the trees, with a short walk through the woods on our 12 acre farm. This is an all levels class and by all levels, this could be a great place to have your 1st yoga experience!
You will arrive on the farm, we will do a quick orientation to the experience and then start our hike up the hill into the wilderness. We will begin with a pranayama (breathing) meditation to center the group in and follow that with an hour long yoga class that will start with some long stretching and warm up postures to get us acclimated to the practice. From there we will add in some longer holds and strength based postures working on warming up the legs, core and whole body.
Once we have a roadmap for where we are going in our bodies and with our breathe we will pick up the pace slightly, have a little fun with some fluid movements and then end with some slo-flo stretching and cool downs. Lastly we will have a nice long savasana where we can connect back to our breathe and intention.We will finish the practice with turkey tail and reishi mushroom tea or water, connect with one another.
Our goal at Vitus Farm is to provide our guests with an experience to create and explore an intention within the mind, breathe in the wilderness and freshness of the outdoors, create a connection with self and with others leaving rejuvenated.
